voices shatter

the morning calm

Urgency trills 

panicked regrets

clashes of wills

tightening nets

A falling bowl

tears and spins

time stolen

breakfast binned

Fear swells

anger beckons

frustration looms

insults reckon

Clenching jaws

voices hoarse

limping forwards

full of remorse

Kisses offered

apologies wielded

recaps laboured

lectures steeled 

Silence looms

heavy hearts
