How to Make Frozen Themed White Chocolate Bark (Without Candy Melts)

We just threw a (low key) Frozen party for our four year old. She is an avid fan of Anna and Elsa and positively brimmed with excitement as the day approached.

For me, parties are all about the best outcome for the least amount of effort, so this white chocolate bark recipe is the epitome of that mentality. Most chocolate bark recipes call for candy melts, and I just don’t happen to have those hanging around in my pantry. White chocolate, however, I sure do.

This takes five minutes, uses minimal ingredients and looks great.

White Chocolate Frozen Bark

Ingredients
2 200 gram blocks of white chocolate
Blue food colouring
White & gold edible shimmer powder/pearls/stars/decorations

Method
1. Place a third of the chocolate into a microwave safe bowl and melt on low heat until the chocolate is almost melted (Don’t overdo it!). Stir briefly and set aside.
2. Repeat for the remaining two thirds of the chocolate in separate bowls.
3. Leave one third white.
4. Place one drop of blue colouring into one bowl and stir.
5. Place two drops (or more if required) into another bowl and stir.
6. Starting with the white melted mixture, scoop into a baking paper lined tray. Repeat with the other two mixtures, in an artistic fashion. Swirl with a knife or fork until a swirl pattern is created.
7. Scatter over the decorations and then refrigerate until set.

Let me know if you try it out!
