A Wildflower Bouquet

I gather them

Little twigs of delight

long stemmed blooms of

moments played well

words nicely spoken

harmony embodied

in rapidly sprouting minds.

Glossy leaves of focus

the quiet rustle of pages

unbidden, heartfelt offers of thanks

rainbows captured on shimmering

white, the scattering of

uncapped ink.

I breathe in the delicious

scent, savouring the

lingering aroma of gratitude

the warmth of the perfume of

mindfulness and the

intoxicating sweep of

love.

This post is part of the #Write31Days challenge that I’m participating in along with a talented community of other writers. We free write for five minutes (or more) guided by a prompt. Today’s prompt is ‘bouquet’.
